What does the weekend look like?
Visit our schedule page for all the weekend’s events and details.
What should I wear?
We’re celebrating in formal attire. For gentlemen, a suit or jacket with dress trousers, with or without a tie. For ladies, a floor-length dress or elegant evening attire.
Will we be indoors?
Yes.
Both the ceremony at St. Ignatius Church and the reception at The Battle House will take place indoors.
Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged.
Please silence your phone and keep it put away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and will be happy to share photos after the wedding.
More than anything, we want everyone to be fully present with us in the moment — and we would love for our ceremony photos to show your faces, not phones.
Where should we stay?
We have reserved a room block at The Battle House Hotel for any guests who would like to stay at the reception venue. A link to booking information and room block details can be found on the lodging page of this website.
Where should we park?
Valet parking is available at The Battle House, and there is a large parking garage adjacent to the hotel for guests who prefer to self-park.
How do we RSVP?
Your invitation will include everything you need to reply. Please respond for each person named on it, and let us know which parts of the weekend you’ll be joining.
Can I bring a plus one?
When you RSVP, you’ll see the guests currently included with your invitation. If someone in your party is missing, simply answer “Yes” to the RSVP question asking if we left anyone out, and we’ll reach out to get it corrected. We do need an accurate list of all guests before the date of the wedding.
Are children invited?
Yes, children are welcome at both the ceremony and reception.
For parents who would prefer a kid-free evening, we’re also happy to help coordinate with local babysitters we know, including the option of having a sitter stay with children at the hotel.
Can I wear white?
Not if you value your life.
Something else on your mind?
Send either of us a message.
We’re happy to help.
